Melissa Zhang
Master's Candidate, Harvard Kennedy School
Melissa Zhang is a dual MBA/MPA student at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Harvard Kennedy School focused on scaling energy transition technologies and policies. She is researching US microgrids at the Harvard Belfer Center and teaching energy entrepreneurship through Stanford Climate Ventures. Melissa previously worked at Google X (Tapestry) on utility strategy and managed rules-based ESG and hedge funds at BlackRock. Melissa earned her joint Bachelors of Science from UC Berkeley. She is a finalist of the Bracken Bower Book Proposal Prize and is working toward publishing a biographical work on decarbonization when she graduates.
