About Future Leaders Climate Summit
The Future Leaders Climate Summit aims to gather the most diverse group of the next generation of climate leaders for three days to discuss climate policy, communications, advocacy, and individual action with climate and energy experts. The Future Leaders work with these experts and each other to develop ideas and recommendations for wicked problems facing their communities today, from mitigating climate change, to adapting to extreme weather impacts, to preparing for a rapidly changing world that likely will include more political unrest, forced migration, and security issues. During the Summit, Future Leaders develop local action plans and make pledges to go back to their communities and engage with local elected officials, educate their community, and provoke action.
The Summit aims to inspire these individuals that will be shaping and driving our response to the climate crisis by:

giving them the tools to create even greater change in their local communities and

creating a robust network of climate leaders who will be able to work together in facing the greatest crisis of our time - the climate crisis.
Announcing Future Leaders Climate Summit 2024 !
In collaboration with the City of Miami Beach and a diverse group of partner institutions in and beyond South Florida, the Aspen Institute is enlisting global and local policymakers, scientific experts, corporate leaders, inventors and innovators, artists, young leaders, influencers, and engaged members of the public to participate in Aspen Ideas: Climate 2024. This multi-day event will take place March 11-14, 2024, and will feature main stages both in and outdoors, breakout and roundtable sessions, tours of local and historic resilience points of interest, as well as fashion, food, art, and music activities. Aspen Ideas: Climate is designed to offer the public a chance to interact, learn, and collaborate with thinkers and do-ers whose actions are critical to addressing our collective future around the realities of a changing climate.
In the days leading up to Aspen Ideas: Climate 2024, the Future Leaders Climate Summit will take place, offering young climate leaders the opportunity and access to networks and spaces that have historically excluded their voices.
