Bisrantee Wagle

Student

Bisrantee Wagle is a Master of Environmental Management student at Yale University, where she specializes in environmental policy and climate change science and solutions. She has experience working in sustainable development projects at local and international scales. She is the co-founder of Avni Center for Sustainability, a non-profit based in Nepal, where she has led impactful local-level climate and sustainability programs with youth citizens, women, local governments, and indigenous peoples.

Bisrantee’s work includes contributions to water, sanitation, and health at the World Health Organization and sustainability education at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. With a strong interest in international climate policy, she attended COP27 and COP28, advocating for climate finance in developing countries and empowering community leaders from Nepal.

Bisrantee was awarded the Sabin Fellowship and AAUW International Fellowship to support her commitment to advancing climate change solutions globally.
