Jonathan Jean Charles

Jonathan Jean Charles is a second-year, undergraduate student at the University of Miami majoring in Biology and minoring in Anthropology. Although he is currently a premedical student, his passions for environmental science and public advocacy have remained strong. As an undergraduate cancer researcher, he is aware of the negative impacts of environmental carcinogens and their impact on human health. Climate change has been found to create conditions that increase both carcinogen production and exposure. Jonathan also strives to help raise awareness of food insecurity in low-income communities and is empowered to help promote good health and well-being.
