The Future Leaders Climate Fellowship (the Fellowship) was designed to engage the incoming generation of climate change policy leaders from a variety of sectors to connect their specialized work within their company, NGO, or government agency to the larger climate, energy, environmental, and social concerns impacting climate change in their communities.

 

In the spirit of “ideas leading to action,” the purpose of the Fellowship is to provide fellows with tools – through leadership development, educational training, and mentorship – that spark innovative solutions to tackling climate change – particularly over coming decades in hard to decarbonize sectors.

 

At the heart of the Fellowship is community. Although climate change is a global issue, it's impacts are felt and seen at a local level. Through this Fellowship, the goal is to develop a dynamic network of leaders in communities across America, fostering lifelong engagement and creating a supportive environment necessary for fellows to implement meaningful change within their communities.
